ICI Facilitation Consultant
The FC supports Finnish government agencies and public bodies whose project proposal has been approved by an MFA Regional Department. When the project cycle has advanced to the implementation stage, the FC also verifies that the participating Finnish agency’s reporting meets the legal, administrative and contractual requirements. The FC's function is also to support the Finnish government agency in achieving an effective development impact. However, the parties to the contract bear responsibility for the project.
The project duration can be from 12 to 48 months
The MFA has hired NIRAS international Consulting as the so-called Facilitation Consultant (FC) to provide support services for the preparation and monitoring of ICI projects.

The ICI FC will respond to requests within a few days. However, to enable a fluent revision, ICI agencies are kindly requested to coordinate with the FC representative assigned to them on the upcoming requests and schedules beforehand to agree the revision and finalisation timelines. If you don´t know which FC representative supports you, you may contact either for guidance.
The MFA’s Department for Development Policy provides the FC’s support services free of charge to ICI agencies and projects.
