Elevating evidence and amplifying impact for smallholder agribusiness
As part of the FCDO-funded Commercial Agriculture for Smallholders and Agribusiness (CASA) programme, NIRAS plays a central role in generating evidence, organising knowledge, and communicating insights globally to inform investment in inclusive agribusiness. Our COMMS team has strengthened this effort by developing and implementing a LinkedIn content strategy that enhances the programme’s visibility among investors, agribusiness leaders, and supporting agencies. We trained national communications teams across key markets on content planning, audience engagement, and performance measurement, supported by practical templates to streamline ongoing contributions. To foster internal alignment and knowledge flow, we designed and distributed a quarterly results newsletter. We have also provided graphic design support for an extensive suite of learning papers and briefs, presenting complex market intelligence in accessible formats. Finally, we contributed to the creation of a long-term knowledge-hosting solution to ensure CASA’s influential outputs remain visible and valuable well beyond the programme’s lifetime — advancing evidence-based learning for more productive and profitable smallholder agriculture.
