Data Management & Delivery

Throughout the project lifecycle, mapping outputs are produced in accordance with ISO compliance standards to ensure consistency, quality, and professional presentation. All maps include key cartographic elements such as titles, legends, scale bars, north arrows, locator maps, coordinate grids, and ISO-compliant metadata detailing data sources, projection information, publication dates, and author attribution.

What We Offer

Spatial datasets are managed using appropriate coordinate reference systems and metadata standards relevant to the project location, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and interoperability across platforms.

Data can be delivered in a range of industry-standard formats, including Map and layers Packages, Geodatabases, GeoPackages, and compressed archives, enabling efficient data sharing and integration into client workflows. We are able to deliver in a range of open geospatial consortium approved data formats allowing integration into both ESRI and open source geospatial architecture.

Other Expertise

AI & Machine Learning

AI and machine learning enable faster, more accurate spatial analysis at a scale beyond traditional manual processing. Use of trained models and specific algorithms, rapidly undertake complex tasks such as pattern recognition, classification, change detection, and analysis of large dataset to deliver meaningful insights allowing clients to make better-informed decisions without the time and cost of conventional methods. Our domain expert-led validation approaches ensure integrity of information delivered through these next generation techniques to give reliable outcomes.

GitHub & DevOps Integration

GitHub is used for collaborative code development, version control, and quality assurance. All changes are committed with descriptive notes, creating a transparent audit trail to prevent single point failures and reducing storage overhead compared to traditional shared drives. The repository supports controlled access for staff and external partners, with formal QA workflows ensuring code is reviewed and tested before release, maintaining operational integrity whilst spurring innovation of new solutions.

Project Experience

We deliver a broad range of geospatial services beyond our core offerings. Recent work includes cable route planning to minimise environmental impact, and MSC Fisheries analysis assessing the potential effects of demersal trawling tracks on vulnerable marine ecosystems and specific fish species. Our staff have also undertaken marine spatial planning projects aligned with UNESCO-IOC marine spatial planning guidelines to develop bespoke objective orientated plans managing interactions in the marine and coastal environments.
