Overview
We work to strengthen civil society and expand inclusive, diverse, and active citizen participation, while safeguarding independent and free media. In partnership with public institutions, we deliver targeted technical assistance, strategic advisory, and capacity building to advance reforms in public administration (PAR), public financial management (PFM), and decentralization — ensuring transparent, accountable, and effective governance.
Our approach is shaped by our Scandinavian heritage – we focus on building trust, collaboration and community and prioritising long-term thinking and responsible growth. These values are at the heart of our work in governance and dually underpinned by human rights-based (HRBA) and Leave-No-One-Behind (LNOB) approaches to promote democratic values, the rule of law, gender equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and non-discrimination as fundamental elements for dignity and freedom.
